This series attempts to capture the deep light and hard shadows of Bisbee, the fabled Arizona mining town. At the time it was home to retired Phelps-Dodge employees, elderly hippies, artists and other assorted denizens seeking to avoid the rigors of city life. My first major solo show was here, in the long-gone Subway Gallery.
