My indulgence in candid street photography, spontaneous and offering up life as one finds it, was more than satisfied during a brief one-day visit to the Las Vegas Strip, a huge, all-engulfing theater with a great abundance of actors and props.  Postcards from the Strip is just that – random images of the zaniness, the loneliness, the exuberance, the absurdity, the irony, the sadness and the elegance of life pulsing throughout just a few blocks of unsurpassed glitter.  Here, too, there are echoes of early projects in gelatin silver, such as "Waiting…the Imagery of Isolation" (done during the '80s and early '90s in 14 countries) and the street photography elements of the Ancient Shadows series.
